A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step...

... or so they say... Whoever "they" are...
Anyhow, here I am finally getting a blog going and posting some of my work. I've been resistant to this for a good long time, and I couldn't really say why. Probably because I'm nervous about showing my work, which is weird because I draw for a living and people see my stuff all the time on a fairly large scale. But these decisions are rarely logic based, so there you go... Anyhow, to the drawings! The Super-Girl-Lady is a drawing I did of a friend last year that I thought turned out well, so here it is. Next is a drawing I did of Venom a couple years ago. This particular drawing has actually been floating around the web for a while, I know it was on Deviant Art for a time, so it might seem familiar. Usually I don't like anything I did more than a month ago, but for whatever reason this seems to stand out, and I still really like it, so there you go.

It was coloured (I'm Canadian, so it's not a typo) by a friend of mine, Jeremy Treece. I think he did a spectacular job! The last 2 are, of course, Hellboy. The coloured one is actually a Convention sketch I did at the Wizard World Chicago a week and a half ago. Love the character, love drawing him. Though whether or not I did him justice is up to whomever ...um..., yeah! Hope anyone who sees these likes 'em! I'd love to hear any comments, even bad ones so long as they're constructive... Cheers!

And the blogosphere grows by one. Good on you, Mr Demong! I love the black and white Hellboy drawing! (I like the others, too, but I particularly liked that one.) And no drawings from you best work, 100 Girls?

Moar! Moar I say!

Welcome to the blog frenzy, Todd. If somebody is entitled to post his work and thoughts in the internet, is smart and talented people like you with so much to teach, so don't be shy and keep feeding us with your amazing stuff.

I'll put a link on my webpage as well.

Welcome to the blogging world! Hope to see more from you in future. And great artwork too -- I've definitely seen the Venom piece before (floating around on deviantART, like you said), but it never gets old :)

I'm here through Mr. Goodchild's blog, just for the record so that this doesn't seem creepily random.
