sketchy sketch...

...sort of. I drew this in my sketchbook while waiting for my flight home at Christmas, but scanned it into my computer and cleaned it up just a bit... Anyways, yeah...

'nuther spidey

I had actually drawn the Spidey a while ago, but wanted to get a BG in there... Anyways, hope whomever looks at it likes it!

new stuff!!!

I'm lazy, but whatcha' gonna do? Anyhow, I drew this in San Diego but just got around to scanning it in today, and went ahead and colored it too! Hopes you likey....

quickie

just a small one to try and fill the void... Man I'm not very good at updating this thing... and I have been drawing, just lazy.. Perhaps I'll get off my butt and scan some new stuff in. Anyways, for the time being, here's a quick one I did of a friend of mine....

Boba Fett

I drew this one 5 long years ago, and totally forgot about it until I was looking through some old stuff and rediscovered it. So I decided to color it up after all this time... Here it is.... yeah....

Jeez...

...been a long time. So, here's a new drawing... A commission from San Diego for a cute L'il SwampThing kind deal... I like it actually. Dunno how cute it is but I still likes it. Turned out pretty darned well, I feels, and it seems the folks I drewed it for felt the same way, so it's a win-win.

man alive

I don't know why I don't post more often... I've been drawing. I guess it's better than never posting at all. Anyway, here's a recent Spidey that turned out all right, I think...

been a while...

Well I finally have some new drawings done so I thought I ought to start posting some... Here's a Wolverine I did while stealing some time at work...

oops...

I didn't realize it's been so long since my last post... Here's another sketch that turned out...

jus' some sketchin'...

I reckon the title says it all...

finally...

Well, I took my computer in to get fixed and I finally got it back. I did this here drawing during some stolen time at work. It's one of Arcana's (the wonderful publisher of 100 Girls) characters named Ezra... turned out pretty well I reckon. Hope you like it!

...for the peanut gallery...

... quick color sketch... that is all...

The First...

... So I bought the Cintiq, and this is the first one I've done at home. I'm fairly happy w/ it. I was just playing around w/ both Sketchbook and Photoshop... Not much else to say. Adam, if you see this I hope it inspires you to further writing...

Last before Con...

...not that it matters, since I only post sporadically. Anyhow, another digital sketch, another Hellboy. It's funny, he's not my favorite comic character, though I do enjoy his adventures. He is, however, exceedingly fun to draw. Hence why I clearly draw him so often... Anyhow, have a good one folks...

not much to say...

...this one is what it is, I reckon. Hopes you likes it.

ah... cintiq...

I'm loving it... I almost don't want to draw unless I'm using it. Hence, I did this quickie before I left work so I could post something new. It's no one inparticular, but it turned out okay... I like the sketchiness of it. Yeah...

I forgot to mention, you should check out my good friend Kenny Parks new Blog. You will see why we call him such a hack and try to convince him he should quit and go dig ditches or something... (It's cause it will make the rest of us feel not so bad about our level of talent... he's so good)

experiment

So, I'm lucky enough to get to use a Cintiq at work (for those of you who don't know, it's basically a computer monitor you can draw directly on) It gave me the idea of seeing if I can't duplicate pencil and ink drawings. So I tried this... It turned out pretty well, so I tried another one that turned out better. But that one's not done so you get this for now. Anyways, this is my first ever completely digital drawing... I think it looks pretty un-digital, wadda you think?

'nuther one

mmm... 3 weeks eh? Time flies when you're busy. Anyhow, it seems I like to draw Hellboy when I'm at conventions. I did this one at the Calgary con a few weeks ago. So there you go...

I dunno...

... what this is. Just a sketch. Hope you likey.

floating heads...

Has anyone noticed that we all draw an inordinate amount of floating heads? I know... they're just portraits or studies or whatever, but really, they look like floating heads... Anyway, here's one of mine. Well, I drew it. It was inspired while I was watching that Dr.Jekyll movie with Julia Roberts? Mary Kelley I think? Anyway, It started out as John Malkovitch as Mr Hyde, then turned into this. Anyway, yeah. Floating head...
